YISHI Law Firm is advising the project owner of the planned Global Financial Center, Shanghai's latest mega-project that upon completion will be the tallest building in the world. Lujiazui, the building's location, is home to the Shanghai stock exchange and many foreign banks operating in China. The municipal government aims to turn the area into China's pre-eminent financial center.

YISHI Law Firm assisted in the Shanghai merger and integration of Mitsubishi Business Co. and Japanese Nissho Iwai Metal Industry. YISHI also participated in a large multinational company's acquisition of an unlisted Chinese firm. The acquisition totaled about US$20 million and was completed before promulgation of the new M&A rules discussed above.

YISHI Law Firm assisted in seven non-bank foreign-invested financial institutions in the bankruptcy proceedings of Pacific Equipment Leasing Co. This is the first bankruptcy case of a foreign-invested equipment leasing company in the PRC.
